On the landing are the washing- and drying machine (both free to use), and next to these machines is a large cupboard with the boiler, an extra (work-) sink and space for cleaning utensils. There are 3 bedrooms: the master bedroom with a lovely white double bed with matching bedside tables, an elegant dressing table and a large build-in wardrobe with sliding doors. Plus 2 other bedrooms, one with dormer and therefore extra spacious and bright. Both bedrooms have got 2 beds and a large wardrobe, and the largest one has also got a small full HD flatscreen TV, radio with CD player, a desk, and a nice romantic dressing table. All bedrooms have an electric fan. Through the landing you enter the main bathroom with dormer (extra space and light), bath (with shower possibility), washbasin, bidet, toilet and luxury tiled floor and walls. In front of the house is parking space for 3 cars. The driveway to the front door extends to the back of the garden with a small shed for the extra garden chairs and barbecue necessities. Beside this shed is a new barbecue terrace, so, please, don't use the large terrace to barbeque. Behind and beside the house is a garden with large lawns and a terrace with two nostalgic metal garden sets with 2 tables, 8 chairs and sun-umbrellas.

The Villa park:

"Buitenplaats Horsterwold" is a very quiet villa park where you will find the ultimate peace of mind in spacious and silent surroundings, but where also your children can play safely (our house is not close to waterfronts and at the end of a "cul de sac", so no through traffic) on the abundant lawns. In the park are mainly luxury villas on large plots in a rural setting. There are 2 nice looking ponds and next to the park is a small harbor that opens out to the canal that runs along the park and which connects to all waterways of the polder. On this canal your children (and you) can go boating with an inflatable boat (free available in the shed) or canoe (for rent on the park at Villa Nr. 6, for very nice prices, bikes as well). At the entrance of the park is a barrier where a code is needed, that you get from us with your reservation. Next to the entrance is the reception (open until 12 o'clock) where you can ask technical questions in relation to the park. Our guests can enjoy free and unlimited use of the pool, the tennis courts (bring your own rackets etc.), and the "pétanque" court. Behind the reception are the containers where you have to deposit your waste, which has to be separated in paper/carton, glass and all the rest goes together. All information on this and the affaires regarding the pool, tennis courts and other park issues you will get from us as we welcome you on your arrival.

Where to go for your shopping:

In the village of Zeewolde (6 km) you will find 5 large supermarkets: Albert Hein, Lidl, Deen, Boni, and Coöp. Plus another 15 (or more) specialized shops like the butcher, fish-shop, bakery, fruit and veggies, and so on. In addition, there are around 50 shops for clothing, footwear and anything else you might need or just to enjoy a bit of shopping. Parking is everywhere totally free of charge, including the village center and the beach area. New is "De Winkeltjes", a very nice shop-in-shop concept in indoor shopping center "De ravelijn" where all kinds of mini-shops are, including a mini-outlet center of Flevo Glass Gallery with a part of our glass collection.

Cafés, bars, and restaurants:

Half a mile from the park is a very nice Chinese wok restaurant (Asian Paradise) where you can eat real good food at fantastic prices (all you can eat at a fixed price!). Absolutely very good value for money, and ideal for the whole family, warmly recommended by me and my wife! In the village are several cafés, snackbars and restaurants, including Chinese (ideal for take away!), Italian (pizza take away), Greek (Iriodos at the marina, highly recommended, especially the grilled dourada), French or Dutch. If you want more sophisticated restaurants, you can go to Harderwijk (14 km), or Amersfoort (25 km), as well as to Ermelo, Putten, and Nijkerk. Pubs and dancings you will find in Harderwijk, Amersfoort or a bit further away in Hilversum (30 km) or in the nightlife paradise Amsterdam (50 km).

What's up in Zeewolde:

In the village you will find not only shops, but also an indoor pool, tennis courts or indoor squash, an equestrian center, ponds and nice parks, a skate park for the youth, the nicest beach in the area with a special "children's beach" and sportive equipment's, plus the tourist office which is in the town hall. In the immediate vicinity there are many possibilities: minigolf (3 locations), serious golf (also recreation golf), the tropical water paradise Aquamundo, Walibi World (best theme park in Holland), the famous Dolphinarium, wellness centers, indoor go-karting, "adventure forest" for the kids (no charge and very nearby), boat rental, boat trips on the lakes, fishing (including trout ponds), and of course walking, cycling (also ATB tracks) and various sports. In the village are all medical facilities and at Harderwijk is a large and very good hospital for emergency aid or serious health problems.

You can visit our glass gallery "Flevo Glas Galerie" at our house, but now we also have a small outlet center with great quality glassware

and fine silver jewelry at fantastic prices in "De Winkeltjes",  shops-in-shop concept at Het Ravelijn (in the village center).
